The topic of “Kanye West” is beginning to have the same effect politics and religion do to any formal conversation. I’ve noticed people get really upset when I (now regrettably) bring it up. I really have no interest in your personal opinion about his actions/personality/statements etc etc. What I really wanna know is, what do you think of his music? What did you think of his last album? But that trigger word “Kanye West” blurs everything else bumps their ass causing the conversation to shit. Mostly with an attempt to mock or ridicule with half ass attained quotes and god forbid, the vmas. I don’t always need to know ‘why you lost so much respect for him because..’, and why a person (you don’t know)’s personal opinion affected you in some negative nature that you don’t agree with because you’re you and goddammitno okay cool but did you hear his (last) album?
